I. First Time Registering a Qbit Account? Start Here

Q1: What are the requirements for mobile numbers and email addresses?

To register a Qbit account, both a mobile number and an email address are required.
  • Supported mobile numbers: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and other selected regions.
  • Email address: You may link any commonly used email address to receive important notifications and system updates.

Q2: Can I change my mobile number or email address after registration?

Yes. You can update your contact details via: Menu → Account Settings → Change Mobile Number / Email

Q3: What is the invitation code during registration?

The invitation code is optional and is typically provided by a Qbit account manager or through designated promotional campaigns.
  • If filled, the system will assign the appropriate account manager to you.
  • If you do not have an invitation code, you may skip this step without any impact on your registration.

II. Common Questions About the Verification Process

Q4: Which entities are supported for verification?

Qbit supports verification for entities registered in:
  • Mainland China
  • Hong Kong, China
  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • BVI
  • Cayman Islands
For Mainland China, both sole proprietorships and incorporated companies are supported.
  • Sole proprietorships must have been registered for at least 90 days.
  • Individual (personal) accounts are currently not supported for verification.

Q5: Can I submit KYB while my KYC is still under review?

Yes. You may proceed with KYB submission even if your KYC status is “Pending Review.” The review results will be sent simultaneously via registered email and in-app notifications.

Q6: Can one company, legal representative, or director verify multiple accounts?

  • One company is allowed to verify only one Qbit account.
  • However, if the same legal representative controls different legal entities, each entity may independently complete verification.

Q7: Can the verified entity be changed after approval?

No. Once verification is completed, the entity cannot be changed. If you need to change the entity, you must first close the existing account and re-register with the new entity information.

Q8: What is a POA document?

POA stands for Proof of Address, which is used to verify the actual residential address of a company’s legal representative or director. The document must clearly display:
  • Full name
  • Complete residential address (down to the door number)
Accepted POA documents (issued within the last 3 months):
  • Utility bill
  • Bank statement
  • Property lease agreement
Additional requirements for rental agreements:
  • If the landlord is an individual: signatures, fingerprints, and ID numbers of both parties are required.
  • If the landlord is a company: the contract must bear an authorized signature and the official company seal.

Q9: What are UBO and EIN?

UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner): The natural person or legal entity that ultimately owns or controls a company or its assets.
EIN (Employer Identification Number): A nine-digit tax identification number issued by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for business tax reporting and identification purposes.

Q10: What supplementary documents are required if the store information does not match the company registration details?

A “Pending Supplement” status indicates that the submitted information has passed initial review, but certain required documents are still missing, such as:
  • EIN
  • POA
  • Business operation-related documents
If the store’s registered identity does not match the company’s legal registration, you must provide a relationship certification, such as:
  • Employment contract
  • Store operation or delegation agreement
These documents must clearly demonstrate the legal relationship between the store operator and the registered company.

III. Practical Tips & Advanced Operations

Q11: Can multiple operators be added under one account?

Yes. You may add additional operators via: Account Settings → Account Administrator Settings

This allows multiple users to access and manage the same Qbit account with assigned roles and permissions.

Q12: Why is verification still required even after selecting “No verification required for 30 days”?

This may occur under either of the following circumstances:

1) The device or IP address used for login has changed.

2) The mobile number or email address was modified after the initial login.
